Markham Lutheran Church has many stairs, and, unfortunately, is not equipped with a level entry or wheelchair ramp and an elevator. There are chair-lifts up to the narthex/ nave (sanctuary) & down to the social hall, which can be reached via the canopied southeast entrance (overlooks 160th St.). Free parking, including spaces reserved for those with disabled parking permits, is available in the lot on the east side of the church, closest to the southeast entry and chairlifts. There are two steps up to the lobby to reach the chair lifts.

There is a small, gender neutral bathroom upstairs off the narthex. The lower level bathrooms are fitted with accessible stalls, should you need that accommodation. Although they are marked "Men" or "Women," please feel free to use the bathroom which more closely aligns with your gender identity and comfort.

The area is served by Pace buses. https://www.pacebus.com/route/364 stops at the corner of 159th and Central Park. Walk south on Central Park to 160th St., turn left (east) and walk about a block to the church. (You can enter the west door, then take an immediate right through the double doors and walk down the stairs to your left down to the social hall.
